I wanted to take a moment to share a Ken’s Perfekt Jams sitewide update with you… Effective immediately, Ken’s Perfekt Jams will no longer be providing free shipping on all jam orders.
Since 2016, my jam prices have stayed the same. But in that time, two costs have increased significantly: The cost of the high-quality fruits and other ingredients I use has increased just like most other groceries (over 25%), and shipping costs are currently 42% higher today than they were in 2016, with another increase for parcels coming later this year. I used to be able to subsidize shipping costs, thus providing ‘Free Shipping’, but it’s no longer feasible to offer this service.
The good news is that I am NOT raising my jam costs! I believe the portion of my prices that went toward covering shipping is enough to cover the increases in ingredient costs. So instead, I’ve turned on the shipping calculator within my storefront. You’ll now be able to choose your Shipping Carrier and service type, and the site will calculate your shipping cost based on your selection. You will have a wide variety of choices, from First Class, Priority, or Ground Advantage through USPS, or any of the services offered by UPS.
