Over the last two years, I’ve had a number of requests for Apple Butter… usually I would blend a variety of apples, like I do for my Apple Pie Jam, with the aim being to achieve a complex, layered apple flavor. Researching a variety of apple butters that are currently on the market, it struck me as strange that a varietal specific Apple Butter wasn’t readily available… so I thought I’d provide one!
Honeycrisp apples have a wonderful, bright, and crisp flavor… with just a kiss of natural honey flavor; it seemed perfect for this endeavor, and I couldn’t be happier with the results — hopefully you will be as well!
