Blueberry, Cranberry & Pear Preserves

Over the past holiday season, I had a custom order with custom labeling for a batch of jams to be part of the holiday gifts given out at a company holiday party, so I created this jam blend — since the party, I have had a number of requests for reorders on this flavor, so I’ve decided to make it a regularly available flavor on the site!

After hunting down fresh cranberries in February [not easy, but possible — technology, and overnight shipping is WONDERFUL!!], I blended them with fresh blueberries and handpicked D’Anjou pears… couple that with fresh blueberry juice and fresh blackberry juice, and you end up with a slightly tart, nicely sweet, extremely flavorful chunky preserve that is utterly delightful… and fair warning; I made a double batch of this jam, and almost half of them will be going out in the mail immediately to fulfill my backlog of reorders for this flavor… this flavor blend is a fun one… give it a try!!
