Orange Chocolate Jam [Orange with Dark Chocolate]

**LIMITED TIME/SEASONAL FLAVOR**

This jam is based on another one of my Paternal Grandmother’s recipes…

During the holiday season, there was this cake that she used to make — a chocolate pound cake with bits of candied orange peel, and she’d use the orange juice for more flavor — the cake was covered in chocolate ganache; it was AMAZING! Every time I see the chocolate orange candies during the holidays, I think of her cake — so I figured, why not base this year’s holidy jam on that amazing flavor combination? Sounds like a good idea to me!! 🙂

I blended the juice from Valencia and blood oranges with the juice from clementines to give the orange flavor a little more dimension, and simmered the juices in the zest of all three fruits to give it a little more depth, before blending in the chocolate, vanilla and sugar… the house smelled HEAVENLY, and like the holidays — so freaking cool!!
