This jam — it’s the one that started it all… and it brings back such wonderful memories…

I’m 9 years old, it’s summer… and I’m not able to join my family on vacation due to an injury. So I’m shipped off to my Grandparent’s farm… what originally felt like a punishment to me ended up being one of the best summers of my life! I spent the summer shadowing my Grandma; I learned to sew, knit, crochet, cook, and CAN! Putting up preserves was like magic to me!

This recipe was the very first thing my Grandma taught me how to make… the recipe I’m using these days is 90% Grandma, with a 10% kiss from yours truly… beautifully ripe, tartly sweet and juicy golden peaches, fresh peach juice, raw cane sugar, fresh squeezed lime juice, and pectin… the O.G. of my jam lineup!
