Tomato Jam

For quite a while now, one of my favorite homemade gifts that I like to make for my family and friends is my Tomato Jam…

Equal parts savory and sweet, it’s rich, ‘tomatoey’ (if that’s a word!), and just the perfect condiment for an appetizer or cheese tray… Give me a nice pile of toasty crostini and a jar of this jam, and I am set!!  It makes a wonderful holiday gift, though it is a wonderful spread to use year round.

Made with fresh, farmstand tomatoes; made the same day that those tomatoes were harvested — doesn’t get any fresher than that!!
