Technology is a beautiful thing!! This coming weekend is a big Gift/Craft Fair that I take part in every year… to raise interest in the Fair, and to wet everyone’s appetite, I saved launching [3] of my jams till this week, the week of the Fair… of course, work took me out of town, so I was worried about my ‘product releases’, until I remembered that I could SCHEDULE THEM!! 😀 So now my plan can unfold exactly as I wanted it to…
Anyway, on with the story of this particular jam… a couple of months ago, I took part in something I always wanted to do, but was trepidacious about… I went on a Men’s Knitting Retreat, and had the time of my life! I met an amazing group of men, all of whom were very welcoming. Men from all walks of life, talented men who could knit like nobody’s business! I learned so much that weekend, and did a bit more shopping than I should have, and had an unforgettable experience that I can’t wait to repeat next year!
As a personal thank you, I got permission from the Event Organizer to include 4 ounce teaser jars of some of my jam as a thank you for these men in their goodie bags that are handed out at the end of the retreat. The men were gracious with their praise, and a surprising number of requests for reorders have been coming in over the past couple of months! I had created a special flavor for them, which is the flavor you are reading about today!
Raspberry Mango… a blending of sweet and tart; domestic and exotic, common and not so common; two flavors that blend oh, so well together… something out of the ordinary for a group of men who were definitely out of the ordinary — wonderfully so!
So I offer this new flavor to you here today, but I’m not sure how long it will be around; I made a triple batch, but almost half of what I made tonight will be going out of the door tomorrow, and I’m going to take a decent amount of the remaining jars to my Craft Fair this weekend; so if this jam sounds like something you might enjoy, I suggest you place an order ASAP, so that you don’t miss out on this fun-filled flavor combo!
